Centrifugal glass wool is a thread-like material made by fibrillating molten glass in a centrifugal blowing process, spraying a thermosetting resin, and then subjected to heated curing to produce a series of products having various uses, such as glass wool board, felt, fiberglass ducts, air conditioning board, high temperature glass wool, and similar products. It has many advantages such as non-combustibility, non-toxicity, corrosion-resistance, small bulk density, low thermal conductivity, strong chemical stability, low moisture absorption and good water repellency. It is well known as a thermal insulation, a heat insulation and a sound absorbing material with superior performance. This material is used for plates, felts and tubes, which are all are widely used for effective thermal insulation, sound absorption and noise reduction in construction, the chemical industry, electronics, electric power, metallurgy, energy, transportation, and the like.
Technical index of glass cotton
Glass wool board is a plate-shaped product which is produced in a patented centrifugal method, where an environmentally friendly binder that mainly consists of thermosetting resin is added to fibrillated molten glass.
The slender glass fibers have low thermal conductivity and can trap air as well, providing thermal insulation, sound absorption / noise reduction and safety.
Thin Glass Fibers with Low Thermal Conductivity
Excellent Sound Absorption and Noise Reduction, Effective in Preventing Sound Transmission
Class A Non-combustible Material with High Fire Resistance
Strong Water Repellency and Excellent Mold Resistance
Stable Chemical Properties, Resistant to Corrosion and Aging
Lightweight Material, Simple Construction
Low Cost and High Value
